...is on mission to redeem and restore creation, draw people into relationship with himself, and reveal himself in all things.
...want to join God in his mission by Loving Well, Planting The Gospel, Multiplying Disciples, and developing new Jesus Communities.
...that we might fulfill the Great Commandment & Great Commission and see our communities filled with the love, hope, and good news of Jesus..
Renovate: to restore or make new.
Around the world, there are gospel movements empowering everyday people to live into their unique callings and share the love of Jesus outside the 'four walls of the church'. We long to see that kind of movement in our own communities. To see new expressions of the church owning the mission of God in their context: in homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, gyms, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, on campuses, etc. Where good news is proclaimed to the poor, captives are released, the blind find sight, and the oppressed set free. Taking the Church to the people, rather than trying to get people to 'church', and seeing the Kingdom come to every pocket of people and every corner of culture throughout the Inland Empire.
We need make the shift from looking at the Kingdom through Church Lenses to looking at the Church through Kingdom Lenses. - Reggie McNeal
Remember the church is more than what happens on Sunday. Don't put too much emphasis on how many people join your gathering. Instead focus on the impact that is happening relationally throughout the week in neighborhoods, networks, workplaces and social spaces. - Brad Brisco
We want to come alongside people as they discover their part in God's story.
That is where we make our investments.
As we look to recapture the movement ethos of the early church, we have committed ourselves, practically, to the centrality of the Lordship of Jesus, and a fourfold expression of: Loving Well, Planting the Gospel, Multiplying Disciples, and Developing New Jesus Communities as the Lord leads.
Loving God and loving people as Jesus did. Jesus is the most pure and true picture of love, revealing the very nature of God. Our lives are expressions of that love. (Mark 12:29-31, John 15:9-17)
BEing good news to those God has brought around us. God sends us to proclaim the good news of the Kingdom in word, deed and power. The gospel of Jesus involves the Whole Story, the Whole Expression, and the Whole Life. (Luke 10:1-9, Acts 16:13-15, Acts 16:25-34, Ephesians 2:10)
Making disciples who make disciples. The Great Commission calls us to make disciples of all people groups, baptize them, and teach them to obey everything Jesus has taught. (Matthew 4:19, Matthew 16:24, Matthew 28:18-20, 1 Timothy2:1)
Developing new expressions of the church, centered on Jesus, led by ordinary people, called out as spiritual families to fulfill God’s mission in the earth. Small, flexible, creative, owning the mission of God in their contexts.
Movements start with vision, develop with momentum, and mature with multiplication - all empowered by the Spirit of God. (Acts, 2 Tim 2:2)
We aim to live from a movement mindset that is multi-faceted, while keeping our practices simple and easy to share. Stripping away the heavy load of traditional “church-planting” methods and empowering all of God’s people to participate in the pursuit of gospel saturation. (Luke 11:2, Eph 1:10)
A gospel movement will not only change lives, but transform households and entire communities.
The good news of Jesus is not just about praying a prayer so you can get into heaven when you die. The gospel of the Kingdom that Jesus came to proclaim impacts the whole of our lives - bringing hope, meaning, and beauty to each day and every interaction we have with God and others.
